Worthington, Ohio, is a city based in Franklin County. It was founded in 1803 and is the namesake of Thomas Worthington, who became Ohio’s governor later on. This city of nearly 15,000 people is a Columbus suburb, and the trip to the city by car takes less than 20 minutes. The trip to Columbus from Worthington is also accessible by bus.
Many of the things you need in Worthington can be found on High Street. A lovely shop in that area is Sassafras Bakery. Spoil yourself with some pie, muffins, brownies, or rolls. It also carries non-sweet treats like sandwiches, quiche, soups and salads. This place even has a weekday happy hour where you can buy some cookies and get milk or coffee for free. Gather the whole family for Concerts on the Green, a summer concert series that’s held from mid-May to mid-August. These free concerts take place at Village Green Park. The McConnell Arts Center is a facility dedicated to the digital, visual and performing arts. It has an art gallery, a 213-seat theatre, a digital imaging studio, four classrooms and a dance studio. Spend some quality time with your dog at Godown Park. This 10-acre includes two dog areas (one for large dogs, the other for small dogs), a dog-friendly water fountain and several pathways that run through the park. Check out Worthington’s doll collection at the Doll Museum. It holds a vast collection of dolls that originated from the 19th and 20th centuries. The museum is open for tours on Tuesdays-Saturdays. Worthington has quite a selection of schools for you and your child to choose from: one preschool, 11 elementary schools, four middle schools, two high schools, an alternative school and a credit recovery school.

The majority of these residences were constructed between the years 1940-1969, and many of them have an average of three to four bedrooms.
